Social Initiatives

Individually each initiative in our community is an accomplishment. Collectively they speak to our commitment and strength as a presence in the wine industry. We are honored to give back to the communities that have been so good to us, and we continue to find new ways to support the causes near and dear to our hearts.

Angel's Shares

Angel's Share is Vintage Wine Estate's annual benefit for families in our community. This year, partnering with Redwood Empire Food Bank, and with the support from vendor partners and employees we packed 1,500 boxes of holiday food for local families, providing some 37,000 meals and much needed brightness within our community.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink

Tough Enough To Wear Pink is the western community’s breast cancer awareness and fundraising charitable campaign.

What began as a grassroots movement has spread to rodeos and other sporting events across the U.S. and Canada. Money raised stays in the local community or goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Tough Enough To Wear Pink has a goal to raise $50 million by 2024. Purple Cowboy Wines are the official wine of Tough Enough.

Emily's Art

Emily Wines support the Emily Fund for art in schools.

The Emily Fund was created as a tribute to Emily Elizabeth Genzoli. A young artist and graphic designer, Emily was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 25. Her positive spirit inspired all who knew her as she accepted and dealt with her diagnosis.

After her passing at age 33, her friends in the wine business created Emily Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay and designated a portion of the profits to benefit a cause dear to her heart—that of art in schools.

Women in Wine Scholarship

Vintage Wine Estates is the proud supporter of an annual $5000 scholarship to support women’s leadership in the wine industry. The scholarship is awarded to a woman pursuing a Professional Wine Master of Business Administration degree at Sonoma State University.
